Symptoms of Over-Working

The present day work is in such a way that you work for double-digit hours not even taking break on Sunday’s without a day of rest might become normal feeling of overworked, but some day it happens that you fall sick and it may take days or weeks to recover all the enthusiasm, creativity, and motivation you’ve lost.

You get overworked for days without your notice that you are overworking. There are times in life when our aspirations tend to transcend the limits of the body. So it’s obvious that we need a break from our busy and stressful life. Most of us may not know the symptoms of overwork which lead to a destruction in life as:

Negligence of Family and friends:

Whatever the position you are working in, you can be a careerist person but the objective is to make a handsome living for the family. If you neglect to spend ample time with family means you are overworking. Then your family and friends get used to not having you around where you feel like a stranger when you are around them. Some simple things you neglect your family and friends is avoiding to go for shopping or movies along with them, not able to spend time with kids, stopping all contact from friends like ignoring emails, phone calls etc. all also indicates that you are under stress.

Lack of Sleep:

The most common symptom of over-working is lack of proper sleep that causes nervous breakdown. A sound sleep is very much needed for a healthy living. Taking pills to fall asleep that may ruin your blooming career. So it is best to avoid such circumstances where one has to take a capsule to put the mind and soul to rest.

Falling sick for longer Period:

Overworking can cause the symptom of falling sick for many days or weeks like a lasting body ache that can create carnage in your healthy life and also ruins your career. So keep your mind and body free from stress. Go for a vacation for rejuvenating yourself and replenish your body.

Loosing Temper and Getting Frustrated:

If you are losing your temper easily and getting frustrated, that means you are overworked. Often it is seen that people who are under heavy work load tend to get divorced or are in an estranged relationship with their spouses. Family members and can ruin your relationship with them forever. So it is advised to keep yourself away from work stress, especially when you are at home as this can create friction since your family is the most treasured possession of your life and your objective is to make a great living for the family.

Committing mistakes:

With overwork the problems like making silly mistakes, chronic stress and loosing memory may encounter your work. Though you tend to become negligent in other areas of life but it becomes very serious when you commit small mistakes in work. If you have trouble remembering details, this may be a sign that you’re pushing yourself too hard in the workplace.

Addicted to Drinking and smoking:

Drinking more and more cups of coffee, having excessive smoking and drinking that distress yourself. Always remember that heath is wealth and it should not be ignored in order to acquire a dream career. A failure to maintain good heath due to work stress can prove to be disastrous.
