<p>Good manners are important skills children should develop when they are young. We all want to raise our little ones to be polite and well behaved and when children are polite, kind and honest, they develop character and also make their parents look good and are beneficial for the rest of their lives. Kids may not remember all the manners you taught so get them right every time with patience and determination.</p>
<p>1. Kids like to be very messy while eating. So from their tender age itself teaching table manners like how to eat at the table, eating with their mouths close, Use a napkin, sit still in your chair, chew with your mouth closed, no smacking, no slurping and not putting their elbows on the table. This will be very useful manner for them to the rest of their lives.</p>
<p>2. Always make your kids say please and thank you whenever the situation arises. Saying &#8220;please&#8221; should begin as soon as your child is able to ask for something. Start enforcing this rule to kids with the importance of saying please and thank you.</p>
<p>3. Try to teach your kid to say excuse me when adults are talking since it is a polite thing to say when you have to interrupt someone.  If you can at least teach your child to say, &#8220;Excuse me, &#8221; before steamrollering your conversation, consider it a lesson taught.</p>
<p>4. Develop the manner of sharing with others to kids, so that they can share their toys with other kids while playing. Sharing is an important social skill that will be further developed as they goes to school.</p>
<p>5. Teach your kids some manners which they should not forget like showing gratitude towards others. Need to learn how speak politely to others and not use rude or inappropriate language and put-downs. Kids tease each other, and they find it funny. Make sure your little ones don&#8217;t call others mean names, and don&#8217;t make fun of anyone for any reason.</p>
<p>6. There are some things that are too much information, and that your kids shouldn&#8217;t talk about in public. These include genitals, poo, nose picking, and all the other gory things that amuse kids.</p>
<p>7. For children to be successful in life, they need to have social skills as well as academic skills. And if you help young children learn polite and caring behavior, they will continue to use good manners and become more socially aware as they get older. Social skills are important in all aspects of your child’s life, from the playground to the classroom to the workplace.
